Veganuary: Benefits, Considerations, and Practical Tips – January 8th @ 5pm.

What is it and why do people get involved?

The official Veganuary started in 2014 with an aim to create a vegan world even if just one month a year. If you are not familiar with the term ‘vegan’, it means that you consume a diet free from animal products like meat, eggs and fish to name a few.

People get involved for a number of reasons including health, animal welfare and the environment. All of these factors resonate with us.

 

Dry January – January 9th @ 12pm.

Dry January is a commitment to abstain from alcohol for the entire month of January. It originated in 2013 as a public health campaign by the UK charity Alcohol Change UK, 

aimed at encouraging people to reset their drinking habits after the holiday season. This practice can benefit individuals who have noticed an increase in their drinking habits 

and is often seen as a mini New Year’s resolution. Participating in Dry January can help improve health, save money, and foster a healthier relationship with alcohol.
